To secure the prestigious GLP Films Sustainability Storytelling Competition (SSC) award, we turned our focus to a powerful partnership with the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project (KPAP). Collaborating hand in hand with this esteemed organization, we are paving the way for a brighter, more ethical future in Tanzanian tourism.

Through our partnership, we sought to inspire fellow Tour Operators in Tanzania to follow suit, embracing ethical practices that prioritize the welfare of our cherished crew members. By shining a spotlight on this collaboration, we hope to ignite an effect of positive change, transforming the landscape of porters’ working conditions across the industry.

Education lies at the heart of our mission. We are determined to enlighten both companies and our esteemed guests about the challenges faced by Kilimanjaro Porters. By raising awareness about the issue of ‘forced’ labour and unjust wages, we aim to take collective action towards removing these unacceptable practices from the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
