Fill Out the Booking Form

The first step in the Kilimanjaro Booking Information process is to complete our online booking form.

Get Tour Availability and Payment Details

Once we receive your form, we’ll:

Check if your preferred dates are available
email you a detailed invoice with payment steps
Send you a helpful Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro info pack once we receive your deposit

Make a Deposit

To secure your Mount Kilimanjaro Climb:

A 20% deposit is needed (in USD) via wire transfer or credit card
The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before your climb
If your climb is less than 8 weeks away, full payment is required at booking

Confirmation and Final Documents

After securing your spot, we will:

Send a formal Tour Confirmation
Share your full daily itinerary (Tour Voucher) two weeks before your trip

Airport Transfers and Local Travel Support

At African Scenic Safaris, we make your arrival and travel easy and stress-free. As part of our Kilimanjaro Climbing Packages, we provide free airport pick-up and drop-off services.

Our team will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport, assist with bags, and take you to your hotel.
This service is private, comfortable, and included in your booking—there’s no extra cost.
We also help with travel from Nairobi or Dar es Salaam. Just let us know, and we’ll guide you.

Yes, a solo climber can join any group climb or even book their private climb.

No, all of our climbs are guaranteed to depart as soon as one climber has joined.

Our open group departures are capped at 12-15 people maximum. We have extensive experience arranging private tours for solo climbers, small and large groups, as requested.

Climbers must be 18 years of age or over to climb alone. Climbers under 18 must have an adult accompany them on the climb. We recommend you book a private climb if you are travelling with children under 16. For children under 14 years, we will discuss inquiries on a case-by-case basis, depending on the experience level of the child and the parent/guardian.

Classic Climb prices include park fees; camping/hut fees; rescue fees; return transport to/from the park gates; emergency oxygen; guide(s), cook(s) and porters’ salaries; VAT tax; drinking water; all food on the climb; tents; private toilet; one-night pre-climb accommodation with dinner & breakfast; one-night post-climb accommodation with breakfast and complimentary celebration dinner and two airport transfers. Premium climbs include upgraded, expanded height tents; camp beds with foam mattresses; a private shower tent; a superior menu and upgraded accommodations before and after your trek, in addition to the essentials from our Classic Climbs. African Scenic Safaris include airport transfers and pre-/post climb accommodation as part of our open group packages. Should you prefer to make your own arrangements, please do let us know, and we can provide a price excluding these elements for your trip.

Climb prices are based on shared rooms and tents; however, if you prefer a single tent, this can be arranged for a supplement. Please enquire for more information.

Please do let us know if you’re interested in adding a safari or beach extension to your trip. Choose from our special packages, designed and discounted for African Scenic Safaris’ Kilimanjaro climbers. For those maximising leave time, our ‘Short & Sweet’ Safari combines neatly with many of our Kilimanjaro departure dates, fitting perfectly within a two-week slot off work! For those who prefer a tailor-made trip, our experts are on hand to help.

You will be invoiced upon making a reservation, and full payment is due 60 days before the first land day of the trip unless otherwise agreed.
