Calling All Tanzanians – Twenzetu Kileleni: Let’s Reach the Peak Together

We invite all Tanzanians to be part of Twenzetu Kileleni, an annual campaign that unites citizens every December to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in celebration of our nation’s independence. In Kiswahili, “Twenzetu Kileleni” translates to “Twende Kileleni Pamoja” –“Let’s Reach the Peak Together” symbolizing unity, patriotism, and pride in our national heritage.

Launched in collaboration with TANAPA, the campaign features three different routes guided by three tour companies. African Scenic Safaris proudly offers the Lemosho Route, widely regarded as the most scenic and rewarding path to the summit.

Duration: 8 days
Route: Lemosho – scenic forests, moorlands, and panoramic views

Cost per participant: 2,000,000 TZS - All-inclusive

Certified and experienced Tanzanian guides with Wilderness First Responder
Support crew including porters and chefs
Accommodation: tents and camping equipment

The best company out there!

African Scenic Safaris were Amazing. We were a large group of students who climbed Kilimanjaro with them and went on a safari in Tarangire National Park.
